The illness

I was thirteen. The doctors couldn't fix it. I spent more time in waiting rooms than at school. I was a nerdy kid; reading was the only thing that worked, so I read everything. One of the books was about meditation and hypnosis. I tried what it said. Three months later, the symptoms were gone. I haven't stopped looking since.

2011

Outside the system

At fifteen, I stopped going to school. The questions I had weren't being asked there. I read Jung. I read every Joe Dispenza book in print. I did every Tony Robbins course I could afford. I worked on myself the way other kids worked on grades — every waking hour. I had this burning feeling that I was meant for something bigger than where I come from.

2014

Streets of Europe

I tried to start a company abroad and failed within the first month. So much so that I ended up homeless in Budapest, then again in the South of France. I was nineteen. Even broke, I was still studying everything I could — parts work, NLP, EFT, CBT, anything that promised more access to a different life. Some of it actually made a massive difference. Some of it was a way to stay in motion.

2017

The endless road

I kept moving. I was always after the next thing — the next teacher, the next country, the next door that might open. I worked three different jobs in hospitality. I traveled obsessively. A motorbike accident in Vietnam almost killed me. A year or two later in Argentina, I got robbed with machetes and left in the desert while hitchhiking. Yet nothing could stop me. I didn't know what was driving me at the time — I just couldn't stop moving.

The source

I went to India. I sat in ashrams studying Advaita Vedanta — the yogic tradition, the philosophy, the meditation. While completing my 200 hours as a yoga teacher, I felt a calling to sit with plant medicine — so I left everything again and flew to the Amazon. I spent years with direct lineages of plant medicine keepers (Shipibo, Mestizos, Yawanawa, Huni Kuin). I trained as a facilitator. I sat with hundreds of people through their ceremonies. I could read what was moving in someone else's body before they could. It felt like I had the answer. I was wrong about that — but it would take a few more years to know.

2020

Vortex

I came out of the jungle seeing the dark side of healing spaces: without real integration, they just produce more chasing. So I started building the bridge. I co-founded Vortex Retreats — bringing Western understanding of the psyche to ancient medicine. I helped to build a community in Mexico, then a retreat center in Guatemala. I studied breathwork, sound, Pranic healing, Theta healing, advanced energy work. I co-facilitated retreats alongside Garrain Jones and Maya Comerota. From the outside, I had everything.

2023

The body

By 2023, even beyond hundreds of ceremonies, I had worked with coaches, mentors, therapists. I had studied parts work, IFS, CBT. Then I met Judith Johnson, the founder of PNE and a pioneer in somatic work. I trained directly under her. With her, I got to meet the parts of myself that were genuinely wounded and that had been seeking validation through all the chasing — including, at some point, through plant medicine itself. The deepest unraveling didn't happen in ceremony. It happened in complete sobriety.

Lineage

For three months in late 2024, I lived in Judith's house. We recorded her entire 1.5-year practitioner program — her life's work in transmittable form. By the end, I was co-facilitating her certification programs with her. Around the same time, I co-authored a book that hit #1 in fifteen categories across the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK. Metamorphosis Collective — the faith-based coaching program I'd co-founded — took off. My business partner and I served hundreds of people while working 80+ hour weeks. Through all of it, I was being mentored by Ryan Blair (AlterCall).

Now

Home

Today I have a small circle of high-level humans who see me clearly, who call me forward, who are always there for me. I wake up lit up and excited every morning, and I'm in full devotion to helping other people experience a purpose-led life as well.
